Episode 337: 2020 NFL Combine Preview

Paul & Matt preview the 2020 NFL Combine. Paul starts out the show discussing the merits of the NFL Combine and how he uses it in his evaluation process and what he is looking for over the four days of the event. He discusses some of the changes the Combine has made and how it has became more of an event for television. 

Paul then starts going through the offensive skill positions and what prospects he is looking forward to seeing work out or get their actual measurements. He starts by discussing the quarterbacks and running backs and what he is looking forward to seeing or hearing from the combine in reference to those positions. 

Next, Paul starts discussing the wide receivers and how he hops the Combine helps him sort out some of his tiers because of how many skilled wide receivers there is in this draft class. During the wide receiver discussion, Matt joins the show and talks about what he is looking forward to seeing with the receiver group. In addition, Matt discusses the new changes to the Combine and he thinks they missed out on an opportunity to truly change the event for the better. Paul and Matt then go back and forth discussing the changes and how they each use the combine in different ways. They also discuss some of the measurements that came out from the first day of the Combine. To close out the show they discuss the tight end position and what prospects they want to see work out and question whether any tight end can separate themselves from the group.
