In the final segments of the episode they share their top 35 Wide Receivers and top 15 Tight Ends. They discuss prospects at both positions and talk about some of their differences and how they view these prospects.

Episode 258: Draft Projections

Paul starts the show by discussing the latest rumors surrounding the top 10 and Round 1 of the NFL Draft. He discusses whether it is possible Kyle Murray is not selected first by the Cardinals, could the Jets select Ed Oliver instead of Quinnen Williams or Josh Allen, is Tampa Bay locked into Devin White, does anybody know what Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock are thinking for the Raiders, and the latest on the quarterbacks and Josh Rosen, and how that will impact the first round for the New York Giants, Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins, Washington Redskins, Los Angeles Chargers and New England Patriots.

Next, Paul discusses the release of the 2019 S2S Football Draft Projections Notebook. He outlines what is included in the notebook and then goes through and discusses as of this recording what player he expected to be taken in the Top 32 (Round 1) and who are the 12 to 15 names that could also sneak into the back end of first round. He closes the show discussing his Projected Top 102 (Rounds 1-3). He discusses how many and what quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers and tight ends could come off the board in the first three rounds. He also discusses how 18 offensive linemen could come off the board in the first 3 rounds plus a few others in consideration. Lastly, he discuses the defensive positions and what edge, defensive line, linebackers, cornerbacks and safeties could come off the board in the first three rounds.

Episode 257: Graham Barfield

Paul is joined by Graham Barfield (@GrahamBarfield) of NFL.com and creator of Yards Created to discuss the 2019 Running Back class. First Graham discusses Yards Created, how long he has been doing it, what goes into the process and why it is such a valuable tool in evaluating the running back prospects. Next he discusses some running backs over the last four years in which the yards created profile was higher on that the consensus leading up to the draft.

Next Paul and Graham discuss the 2019 running back class as a whole and how it is very different than previous years. Next, they discuss seven of the top running backs in this class and Graham goes through how each tested in the Yards Created profile. The seven running backs includes Josh Jacobs, Darrell Henderson, Miles Sanders, Damien Harris, David Montgomery, Devin Singletary and Bryce Love.

To close out the show Paul and Graham discuss how Love and another injured running back, Rodney Anderson are the two true wild cards in this RB class and how if both of them can get healthy, they have a chance to both be impact players and make the position look better than it is.

Episode 256: Sigmund Bloom

Paul is joined by Sigmund Bloom (@SigmundBloom) of Football Guys to discuss the 2019 NFL Draft. The discussion starts the quarterback position and what makes Kyler Murray such a unique prospect, how his game translates, the variety in which he can solve problems and why he most likely will be the first pick in the NFL Draft to the Arizona Cardinals. Following the discussion on Murray, they discuss Dwayne Haskins, Drew Lock, Daniel Jones and Will Grier.

Next the focus is shifted to the running backs. The two of them discuss that why the position in someways is devalued in the NFL, it has not been devalued in terms of draft capital for the running backs that are offensive weapons and can impact the game in a variety of ways. They discuss Josh Jacobs in terms of whether he can be that difference maker. After the discussion on Jacobs, they talk about Darrell Henderson, Miles Sanders, Damien Harris and David Montgomery as the next tier. They close out the running back discussion with some under the radar names including a discussion on Rodney Anderson and where he would fit if he did not have any injury issues and was being evaluated strictly on his film.

Next, the discussion turns to the Tight Ends and why this class rivals the 2017 draft in terms of being one of the best tight end classes ever. They discuss TJ Hockenson, Irv Smith Jr., Noah Fant, and many of the tight ends from the next tiers of prospects.

To close out the episode, the two discuss the Wide Receiver position. The discussion starts with a breaking down of DK Metcalf and his teammate AJ Brown and what they offer in terms of their skill set at the next level. Next, the discussion focuses on Hakeem Butler and why he is one of the most polarizing draft prospects ever. To close out the show, they discuss why Deebo Samuels is one of the most versatile and best problem solvers from the wide receiver group, Kelvin Harmon and some day three sleeper wide receivers such as Penny Hart, Antoine Wesley and others.
