Episode 608: 2024 NFL Combine Day 1 Instant Reactions (DL & LB)

Day 1 of the 2024 NFL Combine is in the books and Paul recaps it all. He goes through the three positional groupings and shares the testing numbers that really stood out and what prospects had really impressive performances. 

He starts out by first discussing the DT group which was the first group of the defensive lineman. Next, he discusses the DE/Edge prospects which made up the second DL group. Lastly, he discusses the linebacker prospects. 

Episode 607: 2024 NFL Combine Preview

Paul previews the 2024 NFL Combine. He starts out by discussing why the NFL Combine matters and the importance of it. He talks about how evaluators should use the athletic testing and on field drills in their evaluation process. 

Next, he goes through the major storylines and previews the 2024 NFL Combine at the quarterback, running back, wide receiver and tight end position. He discusses some under the radar prospects that could shine in the athletic testing and other prospects that he thinks the athletic testing could impact their draft stock. 

Paul closes the show by discussing that Saturday2Sunday Football will have instant reaction recap podcasts for each day of the 2024 NFL Combine. 

Episode 606: 2024 NFL Draft Quarterback Tiers

The 2024 TierBuster Series kicks off as Paul shares his 2024 NFL Draft Quarterback rankings and tiers. He first describes the exclusive  S2S tiers and the traits & characteristics that make up each of the four quarterback tiers.

Next,  Paul shares what quarterbacks are in each of his tiers and how he has them ranked inside of the tiers.Paul concludes the episode by discussing what quarterbacks could be tier jumpers during the rest of the pre draft process.

Episode 605: J.J. McCarthy Buzz & Other NFL Draft Rumors

Paul discusses quarterback J.J. McCarthy in great detail. He breaks down some of his traits that he saw when rewatching him and he compares him to the other quarterback prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft. He also discusses all of the buzz that has been surrounding him and how it could impact the 2024 NFL Draft. 

Next, Paul discusses some of the other top rumors surrounding the NFL Draft. He discusses how the landing spots of Kirk Cousins and Justin Fields will have a major domino effect on the top 13 picks in the draft and the quarterback market. He also discusses the top receivers in the draft and where he expects them to come off the board as well based on the latest intel. 

Lastly, he discusses Dane Bruglar's most recent top 100 big board and some of the things that stood out about the offensive skill player rankings. 

Episode 604: Senior Bowl Recap & Stock Report

Paul recaps the 2024 Senior Bowl. He goes through each of the offensive skill position groups and shares his thoughts on many of the prospects that were there from the quarterback running back, wide receiver and tight end groups. He describes what he saw in the practices and determines if he thinks it was stock up, stock down or stock neutral from the week in terms of their NFL Draft grade. Next he goes through all the other positions and discusses some prospects that really stood out in the practices and or the game. 

Episode 603: 2024 Senior Bowl and Shrine Bowl Preview

Paul previews the 2024 Senior Bowl and Shrine Bowl. He starts out by first going through the quarterback, wide receiver, tight end and running back prospects in the Senior Bowl that stand out to him. He shares some evaluations on some of the top prospects in the game and others he thinks could use the Senior Bowl to spring board their pre draft process. 

He closes out the show discussing the Shrine Bowl and discussing the top prospects in attendance for that All Star game. 

Episode 602: Early Look at Top 10 2024 NFL Draft

Paul starts out the show by discussing some of the final decisions by top prospects who decided to enter the 2024 NFL Draft or return to school. He discusses Caleb Williams JJ McCarthy, Donovan Edwards, Jalen McMillan and more. 

Next Paul discusses his early thoughts on the Top 10 of the 2024 NFL Draft. He goes through each team and discusses who may be in play and some options for each of those teams. 

Lastly, he discusses Dane Bruglar's most recent two round mock draft and he discusses all of the offensive skill player prospects he had being drafted in the first two rounds and some surprises that stood out. 

Episode 601: NFL Rookie Report for 2023 Season

Paul starts out the show discussing the National Championship game and discusses the draft stock of Michael Penix Jr and JJ McCarthy. He also discusses some of the other top prospects in the game and whether they will declare and their projected rounds. 

Next Paul discusses the decisions from some of the top prospects in the country about whether they have declared for the 2024 NFL Draft or decided to return to school. He talks about where they may be drafted in the 2024 NFL Draft or what a return to school may mean for their draft stock in 2025. 

The remainder of the show Paul gives a detailed NFL Rookie Report for the entire 2023 NFL season. He goes through every relevant rookie quarterback, running back, wide receiver and tight end. He discusses their season, their dynasty value entering the offseason, whether he would be buying or selling and some value for them in trades. 

Episode 600: Michael Penix Jr. Stock Soars

Paul is rejoined by Jeff to discuss the two semifinal playoff games from a 2024 NFL Draft perspective. The guys start by discussing in detail the performance of quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and his draft stock.  They discuss his traits and where his draft stock should be right now and what it could be following the National Championship game. Next they discuss the other top prospects from the Washington vs Texas and the Alabama vs Michigan games. The other prospects discussed include wide receivers Rome Odunze, James Polk, Jalen McMillan, AD Mitchell, Xavier Worthy, tight end Jatavion Sanders, running backs Blake Corum and Jase McClellan and quarterbacks Quinn Ewers, JJ McCarthy and Jalen Milroe. 

Next, Paul and Jeff discuss some of the top prospects that declared for the 2024 NFL Draft which included a detailed discuss on quarterback Jayden Daniels and how high his draft stock may reach as well. 

To close out the show, the guys discuss many of the top prospects who have entered the transfer portal and discuss some of their new landing spots and some other major names including Evan Stewart that are still yet undecided about where they will play next year.

Paul starts out show discussing his thoughts on Florida State being left out of the playoffs and his early thoughts on the playoffs. He also discusses Jayden Daniels winning the Heisman trophy. 

Up next, Paul discusses many of the prospects that have entered the transfer portal and discusses where they have landed and the big name prospects who have yet to decide where they are going to transfer. He also discusses the impact of all these transfers on the 2024 NFL Draft. He closes this segment by discussing some of the top underclassmen prospects that have officially declared for the NFL Draft and some of the others that may actually be contemplating remaining in school because of the NIL money that is available to them.
