Episode 512: Matt Harmon

Paul is joined by special guest Matt Harmon (@MattHarmon_BYB) of Yahoo Sports and creator of Reception Perception to discuss the 2021 rookie wide receiver class as they enter year two of their careers and the 2022 rookie class. 

Due to some technical difficulties the first 10 minutes with Matt did not record but Paul rerecorded the opening and shared Matt's thoughts on Ja'Marr Chase and Jaylen Waddle's rookie seasons after evaluating them with reception perception. Paul then shared Matt's preference in dynasty wide receiver rankings between Chase and Justin Jefferson and Waddle and his new teammate Tyreek Hill. 

The next segment picks up with remainder of the audio with Matt. First topic they discuss is the next wave of second year wide receivers and who surprised him most in their rookie year compared to their college film, who he expects to break out this year even more, his thoughts on Amon-Ra St. Brown and a deeper second year wide receiver he is very intrigued with. The other names discussed in this section include Kadarius Toney, DeVonta Smith, Rashod Batemen, Elijah Moore and Nico Collins. 

Following the discussion on the 2021 wide receivers the conversation transitioned to the 2022 rookie receivers. Matt shared his findings from reception perception on many of the top rookie receivers including Drake London, Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave, Jameson Williams, Jahan Dotson, Traylon Burks and Skyy Moore.

Paul and Jeff are joined by special guest Sigmund Bloom (@SigmundBloom) of Football Guys to discuss the 2022 rookie class and some of the big topics in the NFL. 

The first segment discussed the rookie quarterbacks and how the league evaluated the class and why we think so many of the quarterbacks fell further in the draft than expected. In addition, they discuss some of the veteran quarterback movement in the NFL and how it relates to the rookie class. 

In the second segment, Sigmund discusses why he is a big fan of Kenneth Walker. In addition, Sig shares his thoughts on where he stands on the James Cook discussion and some of the other top rookie running backs. 

In the final part of the podcast, Sig discusses who he believes was the top wide receiver from this class and who has the highest ceiling from this wide receiver class. In addition, Sig shares his thoughts on many of the other top wide receivers from round one and why he is also very intrigued with Wan'Dale Robinson.

Graham shares his thoughts on all of the top rookie running backs and some under the radar ones as well. He discusses his findings pre-draft with his yards created metric and then also discusses them from a landing spot perspective and dynasty and redraft value.

Paul is joined by special guest Matt Williamson(@WilliamsonNFL). Matt shares his thoughts on many of the top rookies from a redraft and dynasty perspective.

In addition, Matt shares his detailed takes on all things Pittsburgh Steelers including how much they like Mitchell Trubisky, why he thinks they chose Kenny Pickett, his thoughts on George Pickens and Calvin Austin and whether or not Diontae Johnson may be a Steeler after this year. 

Episode 505: UDFA Prospect Talk With Emory Hunt

Paul is joined by special guest Emory Hunt (@FBallGameplan) of Football Gameplan to discuss the top offensive skill player UDFA prospects from the 2022 NFL Draft that you need to know before training camp. First they discuss some of the top UDFA running backs in terms of talent, landing spot and opportunity. Next they discuss the wide receiver class, followed by the tight end group and lastly the quarterbacks.

Episode 504: 2022 Rookie Class Check In

With rookie minicamps, OTA's and full team minicamps in the books, Paul, Jeff and Matt check in on the 2022 offensive rookie class. First, they discuss some rookies whose stock has possibly went up or down based on some of the most recent news or minicamp reports. Some of the prospects discussed in this section include Jahan Dotson, Chris Olave, George Pickens, Daniel Bellinger, Wan'Dale Robinson, Chig Okonkwo, Kenny Pickett, Skyy Moore and Treylon Burks. 

In the second segment, the guys discuss some trends and surprises they are seeing in dynasty rookie drafts and some prospects they believe are very undervalued. Some of the prospects discussed here include Jameson Williams, Wan'Dale Robinson, Jahan Dotson, Trey McBride and others.  

In the final segment of the night, the guys share their favorite marriages between rookies and their scheme fit for the team that drafted them. Some of the rookies discussed here include James Cook, David Bell, Kennedy Brooks, Rachaad White and Treylon Burks.
