Episode 492: NFC West 2022 NFL Draft Recap

Paul starts off an eight part mini series recapping every teams NFL draft by division. First up is the NFC West. In this podcast Paul recaps the Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams drafts. He shares his favorite picks, value picks and most questionable picks or decisions for each team. He also summarizes each teams drafts and ranks his favorite drafts one through four in the division.

Episode 488: 2022 NFL Draft Round 1 Recap

Night one of the 2022 NFL Draft is in the books and Paul and Jeff recap every single pick and the two blockbuster trades involving NFL players. To start the show, the guys discuss AJ Brown being traded to the Philadelphia Eagles and Marquise Brown being traded to the Arizona Cardinals. Paul and Jeff discuss the trade compensation, the impact on all four teams and share their quick fantasy and dynasty analysis for the players impacted by the two big moves. 

Next, Paul and Jeff discuss their thoughts on all 32 draft picks in Round One of the NFL Draft. They discuss the player and their fit on their new team. 

To end the show, the guys discuss what to look for on day two of the NFL Draft, discuss what NFL players could be traded and the best players available left that should come off the board early in the night. 

Episode 487:2022 Draft Projections

In this final episode before the 2022 NFL Draft, Paul shares what he is expecting to happen at every position in Round 1 of the NFL Draft and in Rounds 1-3. He goes through position by position and discusses the prospects you should expect to come off the board on night one and two of the NFL Draft.

Episode 486: Final 2022 Draft Rankings and Tiers

With the 2022 NFL Draft just days away Paul shares his final 2022 NFL Draft Rankings and Tiers. He starts by going through his quarterback rankings and tiers, followed by his running back tiers and rankings, then his wide receivers and lastly the tight ends. 

Paul discusses in detail some of the players and his changes in his rankings and tiers over the final months leading up to the NFL Draft. 

Episode 485: Matt Waldman

Paul and Jeff are joined by special guest Matt Waldman (@MattWaldman) of the Rookie Scouting Portfolio. To start the show Matt talks about his process a little and how he adjusts it at times and how it naturally evolves. 

Next Paul and Jeff ask Matt to elaborate on some of the 2022 quarterback prospects and he shares some of the strengths or concerns he has on Skyler Thompson, Carson Strong, Malik Willis and Desmond Ridder. 

In the next segment, the guys discuss some of the 2022 running back prospects and the challenges of making an overall running back board when comparing certain running backs to others based on their skill set is not a fair comparison. Some of the running backs Matt shares his thoughts on include James Cook, Rachaad White, Isaih Pacheco, Kennedy Brooks, Keontay Ingram and Brian Robinson. 

Following the running back discussion the guys discuss some of the 2022 wide receiver prospects. The first name discussed is Justyn Ross and Matt shares how he approached evaluating him considering the time he has missed over the last two years and the lack of production compared to his freshman year. Some of the other receivers discussed in detail include Chris Olave and Traylon Burks. 

In the final segment, Matt shares his thoughts on some of the top tight end prospects and the process behind evaluating them. Some of the prospects discussed in detail include Charlie Kolar, Jeremey Ruckert and Cade Otton.

Paul is joined by special guest Sigmund Bloom (@SigmundBloom) of Football Guys to discuss the 2022 NFL Draft.

They start the show by discussing the significant movement in NFL free agency and the impact it has relative to the 2022 NFL Draft. Next, they discuss whether or not a trend has been started by NFL teams looking to move their star wide receivers if they have a quarterback making top of the pay scale money. This discussion leads into the 2022 wide receiver class and how as many as seven could go in round one as teams are looking to replenish their rosters with young and affordable talent in the draft. Sigmund shares his thoughts on the top receivers in the class and some under the radar names that will come off the board on day three. 

Next, Sigmund and Paul discuss the 2022 quarterback class. Sigmund shares his thoughts on the class and the guys discuss the value of taking a quarterback late round one or early second compared to early or or mid first.

Paul is joined by Wes Huber (@WesHuberNFL) of Fantasy Points to preview the 2022 Running Back Class. The show starts with Wes discussing a little bit about what Fantasy Points is working on and what they cover. Next, they transition to the discussion on the running backs. Wes first shares his thoughts on the class as a whole and how he is looking for backs with specialized traits and skill sets after the top backs who may be more of a true bell cow.
